The journey towards ISTE Certification began on February 12th, 2019, at the Canyons School District in Sandy, Utah. LeeAnn Lindsey joined a few dozen EdTech Leaders from Utah and the UEN Professional Development Team for a two day in-person training to introduce the ISTE Standards and ISTE CAP Program.
For our first activity we each wrote an individual goal for our time spent in the ISTE Certification Course. Mine was simple.
“I intend to step out of my currently comfortable learning environment and take on new challenges that will stretch my leadership skills and expand my potential as an Instructional Technology Specialist.”
With this series of webpages and links to online resources and videos I invite you to join me on that journey. Linked below are my ISTE Certification Alignment Map and the thirteen artifacts I’ve selected to show mastery of the 25 criteria required.
