Michael Hakkarinen is an instructional technology specialist from Utah who strives to provide not only the most effective, but the most balanced use of technology for public school districts and learning communities. From teaching teachers, to coaching administrators, to engaging students, and even talking legislatures off of ledges, Michael is always helping to drive solutions to the problems we create for ourselves in this exponentially accelerating world of technology. Michael speaks extensively around the country to boards, school districts, businesses and governments. When he isn’t behind a podium he can be found rock climbing in Big Cottonwood Canyon just up the street from his home in Salt Lake City, mountain biking up mountains sides, skiing the slopes, searching for new ways to help people spend less time on their smartphones, or spending time with his spectacular stunning wife who helped proof read this bio.
